The 2013 Marta Hidy Prize for Piano:

The search is on for the next winner of The Orchestra Toronto Concerto Competition.Talented young pianists aged 23 and under are invited to apply now for this year’s competition. First prize is a $1,000 scholarship and a chance to perform as a soloist with Orchestra Toronto at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. The concerto competition jury will be looking for artistry, musicianship, technical skills and stage presence.   • CCC National Competition will be held October 3-6, 2013. Previous Artists Division of CCC Toronto Competition is merged into the National Competition.
  • CCC Rising Star Concert Series will continue to have 4-6 concerts in 2013 to feature winners from current and previous competitions.

Cleveland International Piano Competition

Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition

In June of 2013, Kaufman Music Center will inaugurate its first International Youth Piano Competition. Open to young pianists between the ages of 7 and 17, the competition will award cash prizes and give winners the opportunity to perform in New York’s prestigious Merkin Concert Hall.

The competition will be held from June 17-June 23, 2013 and the Winners Showcase Concert will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 2 pm, at Kaufman Music Center's Merkin Concert Hall.

The Louisiana International Piano Competition: Fifth Biennial Competition, October 21-26, 2013

The Competition will again be centered at the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center, which houses a concert-grand Yamaha and will include master classes and a Junior Competition at Louisiana College, Pineville, Louisiana

20th Jeunesses International Piano Competition 
Bucharest, 18 - 25 May 2013
All performers in the piano competition will receive participation diplomas. Prizes will be awarded by a Jury whose members are well known personalities of the musical world. The Jury will evaluate both the technical aspect and the expressive quality of the interpretation. If necessary, the competitors may be asked by the Jury members to perform only excerpts from some works. All the decisions of the Jury are final and non-appealable.
